Arthritis Today Jewelry
All of us who have RA (arthritis) find ourselves
working within the challenges it imposes upon us. As a metalsmith and
designer I found myself looking for designs that were attractive and also
were easy for me to use. I've attempted to design easily managed clasps on
necklaces and bracelets, and rings that are adjustable to accommodate swollen
knuckles.
The clasp can be used on most necklaces and
bracelets that you see on the gallery pages here. I can also custom design a
piece to fit your special needs. The adjustable ring is not soldered closed
and can adjust almost a size to accommodate those knuckles that tend to change
size for lots of us.
Please take some time to look through the gallery
pages to find a piece that you are pulled toward. All my work is one of a
kind. I can come close to replication of pieces you see here, but all pieces
vary due to stone, fossil, and found object availability. If you're
